Betty Ann (Godinez) Solomon age 84 was called home on August 26, 2021. She was born to Wilfred Godinez and Refugio "Ruth" Valenzuela on May 12, 1937, in Phoenix, Arizona and later came to reside in California. She is survived by her two children Carol and (Tom) Stewart and Bob and (Gina) Solomon, her seven Grandchildren, Brandi, Bradley, Nicole, Sara, Nate, Natalie and Vincent, her siblings Barbara, Pat, Bob, Louie, Linda and Joann. Twenty Great and Great-Great Grandchildren as well as an extended family of relatives and friends who loved her dearly. She was the matriarch of the family and those who knew her loving called her "Nanie". She was a devout catholic and a woman of great strength who felt blessedwith life, living it to her fullest centered on family and friends. She taught her loved ones by example to be kind, caring, generous, loving, have faith to persevere.
In her retirement her favorite pastimes were gardening, crafting, enjoyed the outdorrs with her dog, reading and keeping up with the news, she enjoyed the mountains and traveling on new adventures and most especially she loved to be surrounded by family who meant the world to her. Mom/Nanie/Betty made everyone she met feel welcomed. She will be greatly missed. We love you and you will forever be in our hearts.
Betty's Services will be on Friday October 15th, 2021 12pm Mass and 1:30pm Graveside, all will be held at Our Lady Queen of Peace 3510 E. Washington Street, Colton, Ca 92324.
