Passed away on February 26, 2012 in Pomona at the age of 81. He is survived by his wife of 57 years, Jane, Daughter Linda (Michael) Brumley of Fontana, brother Jack (Wanda) Towe of Riverside, Dear friends Tom and Ilene Holloway of Rancho Cucamonga, 2 grandchildren Willie (Stacy) Holloway of Alta Loma, Erin (Brent) Hawthorne of Hesperia, 6 great grandchildren Megan, Kaley, Aeden Holloway, Talon, Ezra, Charleigh Hawthorne. Born July 1, 1930 in Pomona. Bill was a Korean War Veteran. He retired from the City of Ontario Water Dept. as a meter reader after 30 years of service. Bill loved to go deep sea fishing and to Laughlin. Visitation will be held on Saturday, March 4th from 5:00 pm to 8:00pm at Stone Funeral Home in Upland. Services will be held on Monday March 5th at 1:00 pm at Stone Funeral Home in Upland. Entombment will be at Bellevue Mausoleum in Ontario.
