I am sad to learn of the passing of Carol Jean. I so admired her while at Miami. She was an upperclass sorority sister everyone admired and respected. She led with class. My sympathies.

I somehow missed the notice of Carol's untimely passing in last summer's Miamian magazine, but just came across it in the Delta Zeta magazine. I must say, reading this really hit me hard. Carol was president of Delta Zeta the year after I pledged and Sandy was in my pledge class. I love them both and remember Carol as one of the brightest, kindest, funniest, most capable, cool people I've ever met. She is in Heaven with my Little Sis / Heart Sis, Cindy Remar Edgar. God speed.

I was so shocked and saddened to see Carol's passing listed in the Miami U. magazine, Miamian. I just received it, hence the tardiness of my condolences. Carol was my Big Sis in Delta Zeta and a great friend and mentor. She was smart, talented, beautiful, a good bridge player, a kind and loyal friend. I know she will be missed by her family and friends. My thoughts and prayers are with them and especially with Sandy. I was blessed to know her and I will cherish my memories of our years at MU together. Rest in peace, Carol.

I was saddened to read of the passing of my college friend and sorority sister. Carol was a beautiful person inside and out. I cherish my memories with her at Dorsey Hall and the FIJI house. Mark left us too soon and now Carol. My condolences to her family and special condolences to her sister Sandy.

Dearest Jenny, Kyle and Jessica, I know that you do not know me. But I have watched each of you grow up through the years through your moms letters and pictures. Your mom and I have been good friends since 1974. She was such a good example to me - always showing care and kindness to everyone, Her soft voice could make any of us behave. I was so looking forward to our get together at the lake next month. Please know that I am thinking of each of you. A mom's love never dies - she will always be with you.
You are in my thoughts and prayers. My love to each of you.
