Darryl Lee Oyler, 79, a loving husband, father, grandfather, and friend passed away September 27, 2023, in Fontana, California.
Born May 9, 1944, to Clifford and Thelma Oyler of Kentucky, Darryl, who is notably nicknamed “Papa” by family members, will be remembered most for his nearly 60-year career in the mattress manufacturing industry. He loved his profession, and his work-related travels took him to just about every corner of the world. In Darryl’s free time he enjoyed bowling, watching NASCAR racing and playing as much golf as he could.
Darryl is survived by his wife of 60 years, Josephine Oyler; brother: Larry (Roxie) Oyler; daughters: Julie (Nate) Eakin, Linda (Randy) Ray; his 6 grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren with a 10th one on the way.
