May your memories of the wonderful times you shared with your loved one comfort you and your family, today and always.

I think I will miss our conversations about John, growing old,  our kids, family and friends. I will miss touring the orchads, fruit trees and roses and all the photos in her family room. It became a very comfortable friendship and I will miss my friend.

Gay was one of a kind, a warm, witty and talented lady. I always looked forward to any gathering where I knew she'd be present. I will miss her bright smile and the almost wicked twinkle in her eye. She taught us all the most graceful way to deal with adversity, both after the death of her husband and during her bouts of illness

Gay was the most special person I have ever met in the Uplanders.  She always made me smile, shared my love of John Sandford and took care of me at special events.  When she saw I was alone she would come up and hug me and invite me to her table.  I loved her and the example she made of her life.  She was positive and active and nothing stood in her way.  She was all about love.  I hope to lead my life as Gay did sharing and caring for others as she did for me.  She was a star in my life and she will remain in my heart forever.  Gay, I will try to lead my life by example as you did and make this world a better place.

I have know Ric Scaramella for many years, as a result, I have been very fortunate to have enjoyed several amazing dinners and a few fun card games with his wonderful mother, Gay. My sincere condolences go out to Ric, Larry, and the rest of her family.
