With deep love and heavy hearts, we honor the life of Guillermina Castillo, who was born on December 2, 1954, in Mexico, and entered into eternal rest on November 6, 2025, called home to be with our Heavenly Father.
Guillermina was the heart of her home, a woman whose love was felt the moment you walked into the room. She had a gentle spirit and a hardworking nature, always finding joy in caring for the things and people she loved. Her days were often spent tending to her trees and plants, creating little pockets of beauty wherever she could. She had a tender love for her dogs, Penny and Luna, and sharing her warm laughter with those around her. Her joyful phrase, “Oh yeah, that's good!” will forever echo in our hearts, reminding us of her humor, light, and the way she could make any moment brighter.
Family
She is lovingly remembered as the heart of our family, a devoted wife, mother, sister, grandmother, and great-grandmother, whose warmth touched every one of us. Guillermina is survived by her husband, Carlos Sr., who loved her deeply, and by her three children, Perla, Lucy, and Carlos Jr., who were her greatest pride. She leaves behind her sisters Teresa, Guadalupe, and Maria, and her brothers Rodolfo, Ernesto, Socorro, and Manuel. Each one holding cherished memories of her kindness and strength.
She welcomed her sons-in-law, Mario and Scott, with so much love, treating them as her own. To her six grandchildren — Jonathan, Giselle, Destiney, Steven, Justin, and Christian. She was more than a grandmother; she was a source of comfort, guidance, and unconditional love. Becoming a great-grandmother to Sophia filled her heart with indescribable joy.
Legacy
Guillermina’s legacy lives far beyond her home. She touched the lives of friends, neighbors, coworkers, and anyone fortunate enough to cross her path. She was known for her kindness, her strength, and the way she always made others feel welcome. Many will remember her as a comforting presence, someone who would greet you with a warm smile, offer a helping hand, or share a moment of laughter when you needed it most.
She leaves behind a lifetime of love, generosity, and quiet wisdom. Her spirit lives on in every heart she touched and in every story shared about her. Guillermina built a legacy not just through her family, but through the way she moved through the world with love.
