Jacque Sullivan

Jacque Sullivan, 86 of Upland, died peacefully at home surrounded by family on June 30, 2024. She was born on November 12, 1937, in Bismarck, North Dakota to Thomas and Ida Lee. Jacque was a local resident for 65 years. During that time, she raised a close-knit family with her husband Dr. John (Jack) Sullivan. They had five children: Rick (Mary); Karen (Dan); Bridget (Matt); Terri and Tom (Ernie). She was blessed with 17 grandchildren and 16 great grandchildren. Jacque was a long-time volunteer and was very involved with the Assistance League of the Foothill Communities, Upland Travelers and various other organizations. She was a parishioner of St. Anthony’s Catholic Church from its inception in 1974 and was a regular at the 5:00 pm mass where she served as a Eucharistic Minister for many years. She also delivered communion to the home-bound of the parish. Jacque was a proud friend of Bill W. and with her humor, dedication and smile, she helped many people over the years. We will all miss those blue eyes and her sassy personality.

She was preceded in death by her husband Jack, her parents Thomas and Ida and her sisters Peg and Jean. There will be a viewing on Wednesday, July 17, 2024 from 5:00-8:00 pm (Rosary at 7pm) at Stone Funeral Home. A Funeral Mass will be held at 11:00am on Thursday, July 18, 2024, at St. Anthony’s Catholic Church. Private Interment will be at a later date.
