John Richard Wilkinson

John Richard Wilkinson, 84, of Rancho Cucamonga, California, passed away on December 17, 2023. He was born on April 8, 1939, in England. John was a beloved husband, father, grandfather, brother, and uncle. He will be deeply missed by his family and friends.

John was known for his funny and kind personality. He had a sweet and caring nature that endeared him to everyone he met. He was a hardworking individual who always put others before himself.

In his career, John achieved great success. He served as the President of Lovejoy Inc in Downers Grove, IL, and later became the President of Secure Savings & Loan in Fontana, CA. His leadership and dedication made a lasting impact on those he worked with.

Outside of work, John had a passion for sports. He enjoyed watching and supporting Charlton Athletic Soccer Football team. He also had a love for golf and spent many enjoyable hours on the golf course.

John's family meant the world to him. He is survived by his loving wife, Hazel, his daughters Laura and Krista, his son-in-law Frank, his granddaughters Ella, Chloe, and Marissa, his nephews David, Grahame, and Bjorn, his nieces Susan, Debbie, and Melissa, and his sister-in-law Barbara. He was preceded in death by his mother Anna, his father James, his sister Mary, and his brother James.

A private service will be held to honor John's life. The Stone Funeral Home in Upland, CA, is assisting the family with the arrangements.

John Richard Wilkinson will be remembered for his kind heart, hard work, and love for his family. He leaves behind a legacy of love and cherished memories. May he rest in peace.
