I had Mr. Johnson as a teacher my senior year at Chaffey High School.  While I was an average student at the time, I remember him calling me up to his desk (I thought I was in trouble as I was a "talker") and saying "you know, you're a real smart gal!  He was the first teacher to say this to me and I always remembered this!  Needless to say this helped propel me to take school seriously and I went on to earn a BS degree, Magna Cum Laude and my MBA.  So sorry for your loss.  Mr. Johnson touched many lives and made a postive influence.
