Jose Serna Ballesteros

72, of Rancho Cucamonga passed away November 22, 2011 at Pomona Valley Hospital Medical Center, Pomona. He was born December 14, 1938 in Michoacan, Mexico and lived in Rancho Cucamonga for 55 years. Jose enjoyed singing, cooking and fishing. He loved his garden and loved to entertain. He would lend a helping hand to anyone. Jose is survived by 5 children - Melissa Ballesteros, Rancho Cucamonga; MaryLeticia Ballesteros-Mata, Rialto; Joe & Sergio Ballesteros both of Adelanto; Minerva Ballesteros, Rancho Cucamonga; His Mother - Maria De Jesus Cerna, Mexico; 5 Brothers - Augustine, Las Vegas, NV; Jaime, Alamo Gordo, NM; Luis, Reynaldo & Antonio all of Mexico; 1 sister - Graciela Barajas, Ontario; 12 grandchildren - Jessica Mata; Joel, Joshua, Lori & Sergio Ballesteros; Angel Renee, Anthony, Andrew, Michael Perfecto; Arlene Ballesteros; Nathan & Clarissa Flores; 1 great-grand- daughter - Kamilah Vigil. Visitation will be 5:00 pm Thursday (12/01) with Rosary at 7:00 pm at the funeral home. Funeral Mass will be 10:00 am Friday at St. Joseph Catholic Church, Upland. Burial will follow at Holy Cross Cemetery, Pomona. Arrangements under the direction of Stone Funeral Home FD272, Upland, CA.
