Joy Farrar (De Los Santos)

Maria Aurora “Joy” Cunanan De Los Santos Farrar, passed into the loving arms of Jesus on October 9, 2026. Joy was born on September 8, 1972 in Los Angeles and was a lifelong resident of El Monte, California. She is preceded in death by her mother, Corazon Cunanan and father Gregorio De Los Santos and is survived by her husband Tom Farrar, sister Geraldine (De Los Santos) and brother in-law Eric Yee, brother Noel De Los Santos and sister in-law Reynita, and many more loving family members.

Joy will forever be remembered for her bright beautiful smile, outgoing personality, intelligence, positivity, and gift to connect with new people quickly. She sought meaningful experiences with those she loved and took advantage of every photo opportunity.

She attended Nativity Catholic School (El Monte), Ramona Convent Secondary School (Alhambra) and Cal Poly University (Pomona). In her career, she worked for the Ritz Carlton, the Irvine Company, and in the fitting position of Director of First Impressions at Keller Williams (Arcadia) most recently.

Joy loved travel, enjoyed coastal road trips, and her time in the Philippines, Europe, New England, and Hawaii. Tom and Joy married in Sausalito, CA, one of their favorite places, and were together for 19 years.

She was devoted to her faith and shared her love of singing in the Youth Mass at St. Luke’s Catholic Church, in many plays and recitals, and was a beloved member of Community Christian Fellowship Church (Ontario) for the last twenty years.

Graveside Internment will be held on Friday, November 20, from 10:30am - 11am at Bellevue Memorial Park at 1240 West G Street, in Ontario, CA.

Celebration of Life Service will follow from 12pm -1:30pm at Community Christian Fellowship at 1791 E Holt Blvd, Ste 105, in Ontario, CA.
