Michael Eugene Martinez

February 26, 1946 - June 13, 2014

Michael passed away during the late night, in the comfort of his home in Ontario, CA, due to complications following a stroke. He retired from the Narcotics Bureau of the Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department after a fulfilling 30-year career. He was a beautiful, charismatic, giving, loving Man, devoted Husband, Father, Grandfather, Son-In-Law, Brother-In-Law, Uncle, Godfather, Cousin, Colleague, and Friend. His family, and all who knew him, will greatly miss him as well as his charming smile. He is survived by his wife Gloria Martinez; his daughter Rebecca Jo Stuttle; his stepson Walter G. Ramirez (Walter's fiancé Martha De Leon); his sons Guy E. Martinez and Lemuel E. Martinez; his grandchildren Cameron Stuttle and Kayla Stuttle; and his stepgrandchildren Christine Ramirez, Angelica Ramirez, Faith Ramirez, and Joseph Ramirez. He was preceded in death by his parents Lemuel & Rebecca Martinez, brother Guy E. Martinez, and daughter Christine Martinez-Boyd. Michael's Memorial Service will be June 27, 2014 at 1:00 PM at Stone Funeral Home, located at 355 E. 9th Street, Upland, CA 91786
