I miss your smile so much and your laugh ! The day before you passed we were joking and laughing how we always did clowning on one another . Everyone would always tell us we were too much but that was our relationship. And man I never thought I would miss being made fun of as a joke in my entire life . They say it gets easier but every day seems so much harder without you . I love you so much and will always remember your laugh and I love you so much 

I love you my son with all my heart. I only wish you could have stayed by my side a little while longer. I wish that you had not gone so soon. My love for you as a baby still burns in my heart. To hear you speak your first words and watch you fall time after time taking your first steps growing up. The way you treated your brothers who always came first, even before your needs. You always had a smile on your face no matter what life tried to deal you. Growing up never cheated you but guided you to manhood. Marrying your high school sweetheart gave me a daughter I never had. It gave me Four  beautiful Grandkids & Eight Great Grandkids and One still on the way. We will miss your CONTAGIOUS SMILE & LAUGHTER that would make all that meet you, glad they did. You will always have a special place in our hearts, no matter how much it hurts. May you find that special fishing spot in heaven, were tight lines are always there. I love this picture of you. This was when you helped me complete my Halloween maze. No matter what you were always willing to help. You could never say no. These past weeks have not been the same. My phone rings less as you used to call 10 times a day… I catch myself trying to call you to tell you how my day was at the lake… I know you’re slaying big ones from up above. Till we meet again… I love you dad and I thank you for everything you taught me. 

Well Mike you were like a dad to me in a way I did things with you I’ve never done with my own father like fishing and hanging out in the garage while you made jigs and I made my tuna spikes. I’m still waiting for you to say” que hay perro” every morning but in stead I just remember you saying it…. I made you a promise at the hospital that night and that was that I’d take care of your daughter and granddaughter so I intend on doing so. It’s going to seem like a life time with out you hear on earth by the time my time comes but for you in heaven it’s says in the Bible 1000 years on earth is like 1 day in heaven so by the time I see you you will have only been there for a few hours. We love you and will be missed dearly till we meet again perro 

There isn't a day that go's by that we don't shed a tear for you , we miss you with all of our hearts. But knowing that life continues with you watching over our shoulders, puts us at ease. Knowing what a great person that you turned out to be. Knowing that you raised four great kids to show Love, Compassion, Respect makes us proud. Knowing how you treated your loving wife with true love from the heart, makes us proud. Knowing that all of the grand kids will never forget their nick names is truly part of you. Knowing how you loved life, was a true blessing to watch. Knowing how your smile could light up the World and your Friendship touched so many lives, makes us proud. Mickey, we may not have been close but you blessed me with a great husband. You raised a wonderful man and I am so thankful for that. There are times when he does things and it definitely reminds me of you. I’ll always appreciate those things more because they are from you…even when I have to watch a low budget movie with him lol. I have two memories from seeing pops at the lake. The first one was at guasti which was a year ago yesterday. I didn’t have many jigs and it was my first real month back fishing after a long break. James had given me a few jigs in December but after a few trips those were almost all gone. He had said his dad was gonna take a trip to the lake that day which was guasti with some jigs and some shirts. As soon as pops pulled up my boy Andrew smacks a 11.58. I later catch my pb at 11.68. The big fish really followed him wherever he went. The next memory was at jurupa sometime in March last season. It was a stock day I believe so there was quite some people. Ended up settling next to him and we had some good laughs and he talked about the cml charters trips and how they were all a blast. I remember pops got a few fish before me and then I finally caught my first fish on my new vanquish and new dragon fly in that vid which you can see him sitting down and asking what color I got him on. It ended up being 3 double digits caught that day I believe. So the big fish really did follow him. Rip pops we’ll all miss you!

Grandpa I miss you so much! Nothing is the same without you. Thank you for being there for me when I needed. Thank you for loving my kids so much! I miss the sound of your voice, I miss your laugh but most of all I miss the 10 calls I would get a day. I will always cherish the moments I had with you. Thank you for treating me like one of your own. I love you so much!

Thank you to the Leon family for letting my dad be part of Mickeys passing it meant a lot to my dad . As a family we read my dads last text message to Mickey it read MY NEPHEW IVE ALWAYS LOVED YOU & I ALWAYS WILL . My daddy! If you only knew how much we love you. I am so happy you were able to walk me down the aisle a few months ago because I knew you always worried about me . You were the greatest father any girl could have and any girl can dream of . No father compares to you. I will miss your laugh and most of all the nicknames you would always call me . I love you so much and I can’t wait to see you again . I’ll never forget our special dance at my wedding ! 

I loved this man for 41 yrs !!!! He was my best friend, my provider, my protector, my dance partner, my love , my cruise partner my everything!!!! Micke I love u so much , we were supposed to grow old together, see our first great grandchild, travel  and cruise around the world !!! But like u said I didn’t know how sick u felt !!!!! I have so many beautiful memories with you , the good has always out weighed the bad !!!! You are a great son , father , cousin , nephew, husband and friend !!!! I don’t know what am gonna do with out u , I feel like is this really happening!!!! Ur the only one in my life who really knows me , the good and bad !!!! But yet we loved each other through it all !!!! God really needs to carry me through  this , my heart will never be the same , my life is upside down !!!! I will do my best to hold it down like u would !!! Ur kids and their family’s will miss u forever!!!! U would be so happy with the out pour of love and kindness that everyone has showed me and our family!!!! Mike was loved by his Dad. Mike Jr.  was the first son, and Big Brother to his siblings. Your dad always had a special feeling as you were his first child. Your dad is smiling in heaven as he was waiting at the gate to embrass you once again.  The Mike Leon's are reunited for eternity. What a blessing!


I am so sorry for the loss of your husband, father,  grandfather and son. May your memories ease the pain of your loss. I have beautiful memories of Mickey, that I will treasure always.
