My very depest condolences to the Vieiro family. I knew Rocky for quite some time. We were both in the pool industry, & that is how I met him. It was nice having him around the corner from me we could stop by eachothers house for questions, help or just to say hi. Unfortunatly I did not see him over the last year, & now I know why. He was a great man & a good friend he will be greatly missed. Till we meet again rest in peace my friend.

Rocky was our neighbor for 25 years and he was a great friend. I had the opportunity to visit more closely with Rocky during this past year and all through his illness. He loved talking about his kids. He especially enjoyed his visits up North to Monterey visiting his Son Kevin. He also talked about how proud he was of Bryan and Stacy. He was certainly a family man, a great neighbor and good friend. We will certainly miss him and all the fun chats. Clark & Laura Burnett (Upland, CA).

I was so sorry to hear of the passing of your dad and brother and my old friend.  I'm sending my sincere condolences to all of the family.  Growing up as kids, our families were always together for all the holidays and special events. We spent so many summers at Laguna Beach together and there was always laughter and fun.  I was a bit younger than all the rest of the kids and Rock used to tease me relentlessly and I fell for it everytime.  As many of the older generation passed, and the rest of us were raising young families, and moved further away from each other, we've seemed to have lost our connections.  But, I'll always have fond memories of good times with the Vieira family.  May the peace of Christ be with you Rocky as you are reunited with your loved ones above.

My sincere sympathy to Rocky's family for the loss of your loved one. Rocky, Kathy,& Mary were like cousins to me. When I looked at the pictures of Rocky & his family in the memory book, I have such great memories of the fun we had when our families spent many Sunday's having picnics at Santa Anita park eating,playing, laughing, & a few crys when the boys picked on us girls. Our families were together on holidays & many vacation times. I think of Rocky & the crazy summer's our families shared at the beach houses in Laguna where Josie would make us laugh with the crazy things she would do & say. There was never a dull moment with Josie around & the kids (& there were lots of us) would all walk down the hill each night to Jolly Rogers for the volcano sundae. I tell my grandkids about the good times they missed because it was a special time in my life I will always remember. As years went by & we all went different ways I think of when I would sometimes run into Rocky at Home Depot or Von's & we would hug & catch up on each other's lives. A few busy years have past & sometimes when I'm in Von's I wondered why I had not seen Rocky & today I had a call, & sadly I know why. My prayers are for the family.

Rest in peace Rocco! The pain and demons are now gone. May you find more happiness with Jesus and you greatest father ever, Manny! My prayers go out  to your spirit!
