Susana Mendoza Velasquez

Susana Mendoza Velasquez, age 62, of Hesperia, California passed away on Wednesday, December 1, 2021. Susana was born June 24, 1959 and grew up in San Dimas, California. She was strong-willed, independent, tough, never afraid to speak her mind, and a fighter. She was also a loving, caring, forgiving, and thoughtful daughter, sister, aunt, Nina, and wife. Susana was always willing to lend an ear, offer advice, call you on your birthday to sing to you, and provide insight for her family and friends. She enjoyed meeting new people and was very unselfish and giving, always willing to help a loved one however she could. The simplest things in life are what mattered to her and she loved to hear about family and friends' daily lives as well as their trips and adventures. Susana was the family photographer and responsible for countless memories and family gatherings caught on camera throughout the years. She had an affinity for plants and flowers, particularly roses and mums, and loved the smell of wet dirt after a good rain. She had a sense of humor about her and always encouraged family and friends to experience new things, live life to the fullest, and look at the positive side of things. Susana had a huge heart with unlimited love to give and will be greatly missed. She is survived by her husband, 3 sisters, 3 brothers, 4 Godchildren, 4 neices, and 3 nephews.

A memorial service for Susana will be held Tuesday, January 4, 2022 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at Stone Funeral Home, 355 East 9th Street, Upland, CA 91786. Following the memorial service will be a committal service from 11:30 AM to 12:00 PM at Bellevue Memorial Park, 1240 West G Street, Ontario, CA 91762.
