Deborah Lynn Storey

Deborah was born on April 24, 1956 in Hickory NC. She was a technical Designer with Valdese Weavers, Circa plant in Hildebran NC. Deborah was a devoted mother, a loving daughter, a wonderful sister, as well as a talented and creative artist.

She was preceded in death by her father Robert Carter Storey.

She is survived by her son Joseph William Arck, her mother, Jessie Queen, step father James Queen, 3 sisters: Cathy Storey and husband Tim Sullivan; Denise Simmons and husband Jack Simmons; and Dorothy Storey and husband Ron Dees. Also surviving are stepbrothers Tony Queen and wife Jane Queen, Terry Queen and wife Chris Queen; and numerous loving nieces and nephews.

The family is planning a private memorial service. A gathering to celebrate Debbie’s life will be announced at a later date.

Her family wishes to thank the Brian Center in Viewmont and the Hospice of Catawba Valley for their loving care and support of Debbie and the family.
