Randy Allen Burleson

Randy Allen Burleson, 28, of Morganton, went to be with our Lord on Sunday, October 17, 2010. He was born October 26, 1981, in Burke County. Preceding him in death was his maternal grandfather, Jack W. Benfield.

Surviving Randy are his mother, Jackie Benfield Tate and step-father, Johnny Tate, of Marion;

His maternal grandmother, Minnie Benfield, of Morganton;

Six great aunts;

One great uncle;

Also surviving are a life-long best friend that was like a brother, Rick Moses and life-long dear friends, Chris Davis and Jason Harwood.

A Memorial Service and Celebration of Randy’s life will be held 4:00PM, Friday, October 22, 2010, in the Chapel of Kirksey Funeral Home, Morganton, with the Reverend Jerry Whisnant officiating. Burial will follow at the Zion Baptist Church Cemetery, Hwy 181, Pea Ridge Road, Morganton.
