Alanous Canaugh “A.C.” Rogers, Sr, 82, of Alma, passed away Friday, October 24, 2025. He was born October 15,1943 in Kibler to the late J.B. and Lois (Montgomery) Rogers. He served in the U.S. Navy and was a farmer.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Katie Rogers; a daughter, Sherry Stuart; and a son, Michael Dewane Rogers.
He is survived by his daughter, Karla Brooks and husband Howard; a son, Alanous Canaugh “Lane” Rogers and wife Brandy; five grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
Graveside service will be 10:00 a.m. Wednesday, October 29, 2025 at Locke Cemetery near Mountainburg, under the direction of Edwards Van-Alma Funeral Home of Van Buren, AR.
Pallbearers will be his nephews and grandsons.
The family will visit with friends from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. Tuesday, October 28, 2025 at Edwards Van-Alma Funeral Home, 4100 Alma Highway, Van Buren, AR.
