In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Harold Taylor; two sisters, CloeAnn Parson and Mary Elizabeth Carr; and five brothers, Ray Carr, Raymond Carr, Donald Carr, David Haney, and Kenny Haney.

She is survived by two daughters, LaVonda Woosley and husband Michael of Fort Smith, and Nina McKesson of Springdale; a son, Samuel Smith and wife Sally of Gravette; a sister, Linda Sue Bennett of Oklahoma City; four brothers, Henry Paul Carr of McLoud, Oklahoma, Harland Carr of McLoud, Alfred Carr of Oklahoma City, and Troy Haney of Eufaula; six grandchildren, and one great-grandchild.

Funeral service will be 2:00 p.m. Monday, July 20, 2026 at New Bethel Church at 2201 North 8th in Fort Smith with interment to follow at Gill Cemetery in Van Buren, under the direction of Edwards Van-Alma Funeral Home of Van Buren, AR.

Pallbearers will be Darrin Benham, Codey Benham, Josh Roam, Larry Warstler, Jeremiah Carr, and Trenton Carr.

The family will visit with friends from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. Sunday, July 19, 2026, at Edwards Van-Alma Funeral Home, 4100 Alma Highway, Van Buren, AR.
