Allen “Deano” Polk, 59, of Alma, AR, died Sunday, January 29, 2012 in his home. He was born November 12, 1952 in Casa Grande, AZ. He was a retired roofer and served in the Army during the Vietnam Conflict. He was preceded in death by two brothers, Bobby Polk and Marty Polk.
He is survived by his girlfriend, Becky Roberson of the home; two daughters, Carrie Robertson of Van Buren, AR and Selina See of Tucson, AZ; his mother, Mary Polk of Mulberry, AR; a sister, Cathy Jones of Prescott, AR; two brothers, Joe Polk of Mulberry, AR and Tom Polk of Mulberry, AR. and six grandchildren.
Graveside service will be 2:00 P.M. Thursday, February 2, 2012 at Pope Cemetery in the Graphic Community under the direction of Edwards Van-Alma Funeral Home in Van Buren, AR.
The family will receive friends from 6 P.M. to 8 P.M. Wednesday, February 1, 2012 at Edwards Van-Alma Funeral Home in Van Buren, AR.
