Amanda Shea Stem, 39, of Van Buren, passed away Tuesday, February 14, 2017 in Fort Smith. She was born February 20, 1977 in Heber Springs. She was the Assistant Director at Children’s Paradise Daycare in Fort Smith, and a member of Oasis Church.
She is survived by her husband, James Stem of the home; four daughters, Shaylee, Karley, Rylie and Whitley Stem all of the home; a son, Connor Stem of the home; her parents, Mike and Kathy Mize of Van Buren; a sister, Krisha Myers of Van Buren; a brother, Andrew Mize of Fayetteville; special family members, Miranda and Zaidyn Harris of the home; her mother-in-law, Sandy Huff of Van Buren; four nieces, and four nephews.
A family-hosted memorial will be 2:00 p.m. Friday, February 17, 2017 at Bethlehem Free Will Baptist Church in Van Buren. Cremation is under the direction of Edwards Van-Alma Funeral Home of Van Buren, AR.
The family will visit with friends from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Thursday, February 16, 2017, at Edwards Van-Alma Funeral Home, 4100 Alma Highway, Van Buren, AR.
