Billy Church

Billy L. Church of Mountainburg, AR died at his home Friday December 2, 2011, after a 10-year battle with cancer. Bill was born in Connersville, IN and attended Ball State University. He proudly served his country in the United States Marine Corp and was co-owner of Aire Systems Manufacturing in Fort Smith prior to his retirement. He is preceded in death by his parents, Charles and Mary Church of Connersville, IN.

He leaves behind his wife Orlita Thompson Church; a son, Jon and wife Lainie Church of Chandler, AZ; a daughter, Stacey and husband Ken Skarison of Tucson, AZ; sister- and brother-in-laws Gary and Sharon Duke of Lone Jack, MO; and four grandchildren.

He loved life, the outdoors and his animals, especially his best girl Callie of 14 years. He will be deeply missed by those whose lives he touched.

Cremation will be under the direction of Edwards Van-Alma Funeral Home in Van Buren, AR. There will be no memorial service as requested by the family.
