Billy Charles Peters

Billy Charles Peters, 84, of Alma, passed away Saturday, January 2, 2021 in Fort Smith. He was born October 23, 1936 in Mulberry to Bud and Ruby (Beneux) Peters. He was a self-employed truck driver for Beneux Trucking. He was preceded in death by a sister, Denise Hunter; and two brothers, Larry Peters and Delmar Peters.

He is survived by his wife, Barbara Peters of the home; a son, Brian Peters and wife Cheryl of Alma; a sister Dian Moon of Mulberry; four brothers, Guin Peters of Van Buren, and Dwight Peters, Dennis Peters, and Jerry Peters all of Mulberry; two grandsons, Ashton Peters and wife Stephanie, and Austin Peters; and two great-granddaughters, Haddie Peters and Anna Peters.

Graveside service will be 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, January 6, 2021 at Dyer Cemetery, under the direction of Edwards Van-Alma Funeral Home of Van Buren, AR.
