Billy Jack Williams

It is with sadden hearts we announce the passing of Billy Jack Williams of Van Buren on Sunday, September 13, 2026 at the young age of 40. Billy touched so many lives of the people around him. He never met a stranger. Billy was a wonderful father, loving partner, amazing brother, caring son, and one of the best people anyone could ever meet. He warmed a lot of hearts with his beautiful smile.

Billy was born on October 21, 1985 in Fort Smith to Rhonda Summers and Billy Ray Knox.

Billy spent his life working in factories. He spent many years at Pepper Source as a Supervisor. Over the last 4 years he fulfilled his career as the Product Coordinator for Tate & Lyle in Van Buren. Many of Billy's coworkers admired him for his hardworking drive, teaching skills, inspiration, and encouragement.

Billy had a passion for adventure. He loved fishing, mushroom hunting, and crystal mining - anything outdoors. He loved going swimming on his family's land. Billy took pride in his rock collection, jewelry wrapping, and his need for loud music among many other hobbies and interests. He was not one to sit still, he had to be doing something always. He got to experience many adventures and places.

Billy is survived by his significant other, Jennifer Reith and son, Jonathan Williams of the home; his sisters, Heather Modesto of Van Buren and Samantha Knox of Mountainburg; his brothers, Derek Elam and wife of Farmington, and Benjamin Knox of Rudy; his stepfather, Ernest Steele of Spiro; several nieces and nephews; and lots of extended family and friends.

Billy was preceded in death by his mother, Rhonda Summers; his father, Billy Ray Knox; and his grandparents.

The family will be honoring his memory with a Celebration of Life for everyone whose life Billy has touched to share all the happiness he brought to this world the short time he was with us. Details for this celebration will be at a later date. Billy will forever be loved and missed dearly.

Cremation is under the direction of Edwards Van-Alma Funeral Home of Van Buren, AR.
