Calvin Edwards, 73, of Mountainburg, passed away Friday, June 9, 2017 at his home. He was born July 25, 1943 in Fullerton, CA to the late Calvin and Jessie Edwards. Calvin was a retired Master Sergeant in the United States Army, and a veteran of the Vietnam Conflict. He was a Mason, a member of the Scottish Rites, and a 32nd Degree Shriner. He was the owner and operator of Edwards Aviation Services, and was an avid bass fisherman.
He is survived by his wife, Christine of the home; a daughter, Teresa Daniels of Mountainburg; two sons, Danny Edwards of Mountainburg, and Steve Edwards of Van Buren; a sister, Jeannie White of Claremore, OK; thirteen grandchildren, and twenty-three great-grandchildren.
Graveside service with Military Honors will be 11:30 a.m. Tuesday, June 13, 2017 at Bidville Cemetery in the Bidville Community, AR, under the direction of Edwards Van-Alma Funeral Home of Van Buren.
Pallbearers will be Tyrell Edwards, James Johnson, Stephen Daniels, Joseph Daniels, Joshua Johnson, and Ben Earhart.
