Carl “Bozo” Slusher, 83, of Alma, passed away Tuesday, October 29, 2013 at a local hospital. He was born May 18, 1930 in Crawford County to the last Arthur and Frances Slusher. He was preceded in death by his wife Beatrice.
He is survived by a daughter, Ellen Boyd of Alma; four sisters, Oma Jane Thomas of Alma, Dorothy Samples of Arizona, Elsie Means of Van Buren, and Linda Sivage of Kibler; a brother, Earl Slusher of Dyer; and several grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Graveside service will be 2:00 p.m. Friday, November 1, 2013 at the Mount McCurry Cemetery pavilion in Rudy, under the direction of Edwards Van-Alma Funeral Home of Van Buren.
Pallbearers will be Johnny Hallmark, L. D. Hallmark, Buck Hallmark, and Johnny Hallmark, Jr.
The family will visit with friends from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. Thursday, October 31, 2013 at Edwards Van-Alma Funeral Home, 4100 Alma Highway, Van Buren, AR.
