Carol Hendershot, 71, of Van Buren, passed away Sunday, June 12, 2016 at her home. She was born September 12, 1944 in Fort Smith to the late Paul and Hope Johnson. She was retired from J.C. Penney after 30 years, and was a member of Bethlehem Freewill Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband of 25 years, Larry Hendershot.
She is survived by two daughters, Debbie Turner and Becky Linton; two sons, James and Paul Linton; siblings, Joy, Billy, and Tommy; five grandchildren, and three great-grandchildren.
Graveside service will be 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, June 15, 2016 at Forest Park Cemetery in Fort Smith under the direction of Edwards Van-Alma Funeral Home of Van Buren, AR.
