Cecil Hancock, 90, of Alma, AR, died Monday, October15, 2012 in Fort Smith, AR. He was born January 22, 1922 in Vetal, S.D. He was a retired owner-operator of A-Gutter and Roofing Service Inc. in St. Louis, MO and served in the U.S. Navy during World War II. He was preceded in death by his wife, Jo.
He is survived by a daughter, Susan Kaye Rody and her husband Harold “Rich” Rody of Alma, AR; a sister, Valentine “Babe” Snodgrass of OR; two brothers, Sonny Hancock of Arizona and Buster Hancock of MO; 5 grandchildren, Jacob Richard Rody, Nicholas Paul Rody, Alex Connor Rody, Dalton Tyler Rody and Makena Marie Rody and a great grandchild, Gibson Paul Rody.
Graveside service will be 10:00 A.M. Thursday, October 18, 2012 at Gracelawn Cemetery in Van Buren, AR under the direction of Edwards Van-Alma Funeral Home in Van Buren, AR.
