Scott Smith, 52, of Alma, passed away Saturday, February 24, 2018 at his home. He was born July 31, 1965 in Naha, Okinawa. He had a Master’s Degree in Psychology, and had worked at Benton Counseling Center in Benton, and Harborview; and had been a DJ for KZ106. He was a loving son, brother, and father. He was preceded in death by his father, Marvin Smith; a sister, Suzan Babcock; and a brother, Robert Smith.
He is survived by a son, Caleb Smith of Sherwood; his mother, Corlene Smith of Alma; a sister, Lora Kay Graves of Waldron; and several nieces and nephews.
Graveside memorial service will be 10:00 a.m. Saturday, March 3, 2018 at Woody Memorial Cemetery in Rudy. Cremation is under the direction of Edwards Van-Alma Funeral Home of Van Buren, AR.
