C.V. Combs, 84, of Van Buren, passed away Sunday, December 26, 2021. He was born June 13, 1937 in Calico Rock to the late Charlie and Susan (Layton) Combs. He was the retired owner/operator of C.V.’s Foodliner, Inc. He was preceded in death by a granddaughter, Tiffany Slusser.
He is survived by his wife, Ann Combs of the home; two daughters, Peggy Combs and Brenda Scriven, both of Van Buren; a son, Chuck Combs and wife Ann of Alma; two sisters, Geneva Lawyer of Searcy, and Shirley Murray of Texas; five grandchildren, and two great-grandchildren.
Family-hosted memorial service will be 11:00 a.m. Thursday, December 30, 2021 at Pleasant Valley Church of Christ in Van Buren with visitation and lunch to follow. Cremation is under the direction of Edwards Van-Alma Funeral Home of Van Buren, AR.
