Daniel Jay “Danny” Farmer, 61, of Bella Vista, passed away Thursday, July 23, 2015. He was born February 5, 1954 in Thomas, OK. He was a lifelong collector of baseball cards, he loved Christmas, and patriotic music. He won the state championship in bowling in the Arkansas State Special Olympics. He was preceded in death by his father, Rev. Stanley D. Farmer.
He is survived by his mother, Donna Farmer of Bella Vista; a sister, Sarah Farmer Earll and husband Bryan of Monrovia, CA; a brother, Don Farmer and wife Anne of Bentonville; an uncle, Mike McCormick and wife Laura of Weatherford, OK; and two nephews, Paul and Tim Farmer.
Memorial service will be 2:00 p.m. Saturday, August 1, 2015 at the First Presbyterian Church in Alma. Cremation is under the direction of Edwards Van-Alma Funeral Home of Van Buren with cremains to be buried at Alma Cemetery.
