Danny Landers, 58, of Van Buren, passed away Monday, July 5, 2021 in Fort Smith. He was born October 21, 1962 in Van Buren to the late James and Lorene (Shores) Landers. He served with the 188th Tactical Air National Guard in Fort Smith and was a supervisor at Simmons Foods in Van Buren.
He is survived by his wife, Melinda Landers of the home; two daughters, Sandra Johnson of Sallisaw, and Melissa Parks of Van Buren; four sons, Ricky Landers of Muldrow, Danny Landers, Jr. of San Antonio, and Drew Shields and Justice Arter, both of Van Buren; three sisters, Terry Dombrowsky, Lenora Jones, and Nellie Hibbard, all of Van Buren; twelve grandchildren, and one great-grandchild.
Viewing will begin 10:00 a.m. Thursday, July 8, 2021 with the family being present from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at Edwards Van-Alma Funeral Home, 4100 Alma Highway, Van Buren, AR. Cremation is under the direction of Edwards Van-Alma Funeral Home of Van Buren, AR.
