Darrell Lynn Jones

Darrell Lynn Jones, 83, of Rudy, passed away Sunday, May 31, 2026 at his home. He was born May 10, 1943 in Natural Dam to the late James and Alice Mae (Fain) Jones. He served his country in the U.S. Navy, and was a retired cattleman. He was of the Baptist faith.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a sister, Hazel Sabin.

He is survived by his wife, Sharon Jones of the home; a daughter, Cindy Brown and husband Larry of Rudy; a sister, Generah Jones of Cedarville; two granddaughters, Ashley Patillo (J.T.) and Jodi Campbell (Brandon); and four great-grandchildren, Isabel Patillo, Eva Patillo, Gabriella Campbell, and Teagan Campbell.

Funeral service will be 10:00 a.m. Wednesday, June 3, 2026 at Edwards Van-Alma Funeral Home Chapel officiated by Rev. Phillip Baxter with interment to follow at Hall Cemetery in Natural Dam, under the direction of Edwards Van-Alma Funeral Home of Van Buren, AR.

Pallbearers will be Larry Brown, J.T. Patillo, Brandon Campbell, Dave Wallace, Mark Burton, and Jerry Watson. Honorary pallbearers will be Ronnie Webb, Doyle Webb, Jerry Fredericksen, and Luther Mongold.

Viewing will be from 11:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Tuesday, June 2, 2026, at Edwards Van-Alma Funeral Home, 4100 Alma Highway, Van Buren, AR.
