Darrol Jan Daugherty Sr.

Darrol Jan Daugherty, Sr., 86, of Van Buren, passed away Tuesday, September 5, 2023 at his home. He was born April 18, 1937 in Van Buren to the late Aud and Willie (Oliver) Daugherty. He served in the U.S. Navy, and was a retired nuclear inspector.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Jeannette Daugherty.

He is survived by a daughter, Diane Wilson of Van Buren; a son, Darrol Daugherty, Jr. of Vallejo, CA; four grandchildren, Shane Wilson, Julie Sharp, Corey Daugherty, and Dustin Daugherty; and eight great-grandchildren, Jordan Baker, Kahlan Baker, Shaylan Sharp, Madyson Daugherty, Emersyn Daugherty, Jameson Daugherty, Jaykcub Wagner, and Ariyah Wagner.

Funeral service will be 10:00 a.m. Monday, September 11, 2023 at Edwards Van-Alma Funeral Home Chapel with interment to follow at Gill Cemetery, under the direction of Edwards Van-Alma Funeral Home of Van Buren, AR.

Pallbearers will be Shane Wilson, Jaykcub Wagner, Mark Berg, Tim Neidecker, Brad Neidecker, and Mel Radcliff.

The family will visit with friends from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. Sunday, September 10, 2023, at Edwards Van-Alma Funeral Home, 4100 Alma Highway, Van Buren, AR.
