Dear, Grandpa I will miss you so very much. I wish you could come back to life some how because I have very little memory of anything when I saw you. Your afterlife I know will be full of joy and happiness. I really thank you for protecting grandma and your city. I just wanted to let you know that there will always be room in my heart for you. Even if ten or more years pass I will always remeber you and all the fun we had. But mostly the fun with all those fireworks. I love you so very much.
Love your Granddaughter

Hey grandpa, may you rest in peace and live all your days in happiness in the arms of God. We miss you, and love you and wish you could have stayed longer to watch us grow up the rest of the way, but I know that God has other plans for you and that you are safe with him. May you smile down on everything we do. Love your grand-daughter Katherine

I love you grandpa. I miss you and I love you. You will always be in my heart and I hate having to see you go. I will always remember the day me and him went for a ride on his quad way back when I was a young kid. I will never forget you. you were the best grandpa I have had. I wish you could have seen me grow up to be a pilot. I love you grandpa. You will always be in my heart. I loves you.

Brenda, Brian, and Laura,

David was a wonderful man that was always there to listen and offer advice (even when as a young person we didn't want to hear it). I will always remember his smile and the way that he could make a person feel better. He made me promise him to always strive to be better than my past. Cherish the memories, I know I will.

I am praying for God to comfort you and your family and David's loved ones. I know there are many who loved David he was a good man and good officer as well. Such a sense of humor he always knew how to make me laugh he was so ornery, he will be sorely missed. You are all in my prayers and thoughts. He was a good friend who always tried to help others.
