Doris Faye Heathcock

Doris Faye Heathcock, 94, of Van Buren, passed away Thursday, September 11, 2025 in Fort Smith. She was born June 12, 1931 in Cowlington, OK to the late Thomas and Leona (Gracey) Williams. She was co-owner with her husband of Art’s Plumbing in Van Buren, and a member of Pleasant Valley Church of Christ.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Arthur E. Heathcock.

She is survived by a daughter, Pam Nardini of Bayside, TX; two sons, Roger Heathcock of Sallisaw, and Steven Heathcock of Van Buren; a sister, Pat Campbell of Greenwood; three grandchildren, Brandon Heathcock, Kevin Reed, and Audra Abel; and seven great-grandchildren.

Funeral service will be 2:00 p.m. Monday, September 15, 2025 at Edwards Van-Alma Funeral Home Chapel with interment to follow at Gill Cemetery, under the direction of Edwards Van-Alma Funeral Home of Van Buren, AR.

Pallbearers will be Doug Cannedy, Lonnie Myers, Ronny Gregory, Jr., Ronny Gregory, Jordan Brown, and Troy Lee Gregory.

The family will visit with friends from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. Sunday, September 14, 2025, at Edwards Van-Alma Funeral Home, 4100 Alma Highway, Van Buren, AR.
