Edward Paul Boyd, 70, of Van Buren, passed away Thursday, September 2, 2021 in Fort Smith. He was born February 24, 1951 in San Antonio to the late Rev. Archie and Marie (Conner) Boyd. He was a minister of music, an entrepreneur, and loved spending time with his animals.
He is survived by a daughter, Michelle Zimmerman and husband Brandon of Fort Smith; and two grandsons, Carter and Peyton Zimmerman.
Funeral service will be 11:00 a.m. Thursday, September 9, 2021 in Roebuck Chapel at First United Methodist Church Fort Smith with interment to follow at Roselawn Cemetery, under the direction of Edwards Van-Alma Funeral Home of Van Buren, AR.
Pallbearers will be Marvin Richesin, Randy Scott, Sam Evert, Paul Shirley, Paul Strang, and Tom Moore.
The family will visit with friends from 10:00 a.m. until service time at the church, 200 North 15th, Fort Smith.
