Ed Levy, 74, of Fort Smith, AR, died Sunday, October 9, 2011 in Fort Smith, AR. He was born April 1, 1937 in St. Louis, MO. He was a retired Political Science Instructor for University of Arkansas at Fort Smith. He taught at Westark Jr. College which later became University of Arkansas at Fort Smith from 1973 to 2008.
He is survived by his wife, Paula of the home; a daughter, Caroline Levy; three step-daughters, Cara Hewett, Robyn Kremers, Erica Pruitt; a son, Kenneth Levy; seven grandchildren.
Graveside memorial service will be 2:00 P.M. Thursday, October 13, 2011 at Fairview Cemetery in Van Buren under the direction of Edwards Van-Alma Funeral Home in Van Buren.
He was cremated under the direction of Edwards Van-Alma Funeral Home in Van Buren, AR.
Family will visit with friends immediately following the service at the Levy home.
