Elida Calderon, 50, of Van Buren, passed away Tuesday, September 20, 2016 in Fort Smith. She was born September 2, 1966 in El Salvador. She had worked for Tyson Foods. She was preceded in death by her mother, Maria Monterroza.
She is survived by her husband, Salomon Calderon of the home; two daughters, Paula Calderon and Claudia Calderon both of Van Buren; a son, Jose Calderon of Van Buren; her father, Wencindo Monterroza; and two grandchildren.
Graveside service will be 10:00 a.m. Saturday, September 24, 2016 at Gracelawn Cemetery in Van Buren, under the direction of Edwards Van-Alma Funeral Home of Van Buren, AR.
A vigil service will begin 6:00 p.m. Friday, September 23, 2016 at Iglesia De Dios de la Santasion, 1300 Choctaw Street in Arkoma.
