Ella Ross, 79, of Van Buren, passed away Sunday, September 21, 2014 in Fort Smith. She was born February 24, 1935 in Natural Dam to the late William and Zona Brown. She was a retired clerk for Simmons Foods, and was of the Baptist faith. She was preceded in death by a granddaughter, Christy Sampley.
She is survived by a daughter, Donna Sampley of Van Buren; two sons, Doug Ross and Danny Ross both of Van Buren; a brother, Jimmy Brown of Natural Dam; two grandchildren, Nick Ross and Chris Ross; and two great-grandchildren, Emery Ross and Shiloh Ross.
Funeral service will be 10:00 a.m. Thursday, September 25, 2014 at Edwards Van-Alma Funeral Chapel with interment to follow at Hall Cemetery in Natural Dam, under the direction of Edwards Van-Alma Funeral Home of Van Buren, AR.
The family will visit with friends from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Wednesday, September 24, 2014, at Edwards Van-Alma Funeral Home, 4100 Alma Highway, Van Buren, AR.
