Ernestine “Tena” Rackley, 45, of Van Buren, AR died Saturday, September 1, 2012, in her home. She was born November 4, 1966, in Muskogee, OK, to Ernest and Jewel Sandwell. She was a Deputy Prosecuting Attorney, and a member of the First Baptist Church of Van Buren. She was preceded in death by her parents, and a daughter, Kayla Hope Rackley.
She is survived by her husband, Grant Rackley of the home; two daughters, Taylor and Hallie Rackley of the home; a son, Evan Rackley of the home; a sister Nancy Barrett and her husband Jim of Muskogee, OK; a brother Bob Brown and wife Betty of Muskogee; her father- and mother-in-law, Bill and Ellen Rackley of Muskogee; a sister-in-law, Gina Rackley of Broken Arrow, OK; and two nephews, Bobby Brown and Jimmy Barrett.
Funeral service will be 10:00 a.m. Wednesday, September 5, 2012 at First Baptist Church, Van Buren, AR, with burial at Fairview Cemetery in Van Buren, under the direction of Edwards Van-Alma Funeral Home of Van Buren, AR.
Pallbearers will be Marc McCune, Robert Presley, Scott Houston, Jeff Putman, Chuck Baker, and Graham Jones.
