Faith Nicole Wilson, born October 28, 1994 is now walking, singing, and dancing on the streets of gold in Heaven as of July 30, 2016. Faith enjoyed life, always with a smile on her face. She enjoyed her horses, camping, wake boarding, tubing, fishing, hunting, spending time with friends, and helping others.
Faith left on this earth her parents, Mike and Traci Wilson; her loving sister, Jessica Leigh Wilson; grandparents, Bob and Phyllis Harp of Van Buren, and Guy Wilson of Alma; three aunts, three uncles, six cousins and numerous family friends and lives that Faith touched in many ways.
Faith graduated from Van Buren High School in 2013 after attending Alma High School for several years. Faith then finished her education at Tulsa Community College where she pursued her dream to join the occupational therapy program this fall and continue her dream specializing in pediatrics. Before leaving for Tulsa, Faith worked at the Center for Pediatric Therapy, and then at ONEOK in Tulsa, where she continued to touch lives. Faith is now helping and spreading love with others in Glory. You see, Faith was a fighter, never giving up. She not only fought a terrible battle with cancer for the last three and half years, she continued her education, making the Deans’ list, held a part-time job and touched more lives in the short twenty-one years on this earth than most can accomplish in a life time. Faith has brought so many to love our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.
Faith Nicole Wilson will be missed on this earth, never forgotten, for we know we will see her again when the good Lord calls each of us home and we will celebrate again. For now, she will live in our hearts and we will forever live and praise Jesus for all that He has done.
A celebration of Faith’s life will be 10:00 a.m. Thursday, August 4, 2016 at the First Baptist Church in Alma with a 2:00 p.m. committal at Sallisaw City Cemetery, under the direction of Edwards Van-Alma Funeral Home of Van Buren, AR.
Pallbearers will be Ben Boerjan, Andrew Carr, Alex Dean, Jackson Dorman, Trey Franklin, and Spencer Travis. Honorary pallbearers will be the entire faculty, nurses, techs, and staff at 7 West at St. Francis Hospital in Tulsa, OK.
The family will visit with friends from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Wednesday, August 3, 2016, at Edwards Van-Alma Funeral Home, 4100 Alma Highway, Van Buren, AR.
In lieu of flowers, a contribution may be made in the honor of Faith Nicole Wilson to the Citizens Bank & Trust where a scholarship will be set up in her memory, and other funds to be distributed to the non-profit organization, Saddle Up for Christ.
