Francis “Annie” Carter, 55, of Van Buren, passed away Thursday, January 1, 2015. She was born January 31, 1959 in Midland, AR. She was a cook at Northridge Middle School in Van Buren. She was preceded in death by her father, Ray Bryan; and a brother, Wayne Bryan.
She is survived by her husband, Keith Carter of the home; two daughters, Brandy Neal of Hackett, and Mary Jurden of Van Buren; a son, Brian Helms of Van Buren; her mother, Bonnie Rae of Midland; a sister, Brenda Carter of Hartford, AR; two brothers, Jerry Bryan of Fort Smith, and Floyd Bryan of Midland; and four grandchildren.
Funeral service will be 2:00 p.m. Thursday, January 8, 2015 at Edwards Van-Alma Funeral Chapel with interment to follow at Gill Cemetery, under the direction of Edwards Van-Alma Funeral Home of Van Buren, AR.
Pallbearers will be Charles Rowe, James Jurden, Anthony Mahar, Lance Bradford, John Johnson, and Tommy Gregory.
The family will visit with friends from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Wednesday, January 7, 2015 at Edwards Van-Alma Funeral Home, 4100 Alma Highway, Van Buren, AR.
