Ida Mae “Granny” McKown, 95, of Springdale, passed away Sunday, April 6, 2014. She was born February 10, 1919 in Rudy to the late Jesse Lee and Carrie Kelly. She was a homemaker, and a charter member of Sunnyside Assembly of God. She was preceded in death by her husband, Guy McKown.
She is survived by three sons, Jerry Don McKown of Henderson, NV, Jim McKown of Springdale, and Stanley McKown of Blevins, AR; a sister, Joan Redding of Lubbock, TX; ten grandchildren, and nine great-grandchildren.
Funeral service will be 2:00 p.m. Friday, April 11, 2014 at Edwards Van-Alma Funeral Chapel with interment to follow at Gill Cemetery in Van Buren, under the direction of Edwards Van-Alma Funeral Home of Van Buren.
The family will visit with friends from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Thursday, April 10, 2014 at Edwards Van-Alma Funeral Home, 4100 Alma Highway, Van Buren, AR.
