He was preceded in death by his parents, Haskell and Frieda Hesson, and Betty and Jim McLaughlin; his companion, Karen Hesson; and a brother, Randy Hesson.
He is survived by a son, Michael Hesson of Hackett; five sisters, Vickey Simmons of Fort Smith, Debbie Kenney of Van Buren, Yvonne McChristian of Mulberry, and Susie Price and Keila Hesson, both of Alma; seven brothers, Tony Hesson of Coffman, TX, and Nicky Hesson, Raymond Hesson, and William “Tee” Hesson, all of Alma; Lynn York of Fort Smith, Myron Heckman of Alma, and Jeff Heckman of Lavaca; and three grandchildren.
Viewing will begin 10:00 a.m. Wednesday, June 30, 2021 with the family being present from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at Edwards Van-Alma Funeral Home, 4100 Alma Highway, Van Buren, AR. Cremation is under the direction of Edwards Van-Alma Funeral Home of Van Buren, AR.
