James Allen Palmer, 63, of Chester, passed away Tuesday, October 6, 2015 at his home. He was born July 16, 1952 in Washington. He was a forklift operator at Whirlpool. He was preceded in death by his father, Dale Palmer.
He is survived by three sons, Tony and Jason Palmer, both of Chester, and Curtis Palmer of Lavaca; his mother, Jean Armstrong of Van Buren; three sisters, Linda Walker of Van Buren, Carla Turpin of Hackett, and Paula Courtney of Van Buren; two brothers, Ron Palmer of Van Buren, and Gary Palmer of Fort Smith; and five grandchildren.
A family-hosted memorial will be 11:00 a.m. Friday, October 9, 2015 at Butterfield Assembly of God in Van Buren. Cremation is under the direction of Edwards Van-Alma Funeral Home of Van Buren.
