

Jayson Lee Potthast, 40, of Mulberry, passed away Thursday, January 29, 2015 in Fort Smith. He was born July 23, 1974 in Twin Falls, ID. He was a driver for USA Truck, and a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints.
He is survived by his wife, Tonya Potthast of the home; two daughters, Whitney and Kaytlyn Potthast of the home; two sons, Jimmie and Garrett Potthast of the home; his mother and stepfather, Robin and Peter Buck-Friis of Fresno, CA; his father and stepmother, Rod and Faye Potthast of Twin Falls, ID; six sisters, McKenzie Buck-Friis of Queen Creek, AZ; Carlina Potthast and Antonia Potthast both of California, Lucia Potthast of Washington; and Christina and Karen Coats both of Twin Falls; two brothers, Matt Potthast of Fresno, and Jason Coats of Meridian, ID; and grandmothers, Helen Potthast of Twin Falls, and Jerry Green of Jerome, ID.
Funeral service will be 11:00 a.m. Monday, February 2, 2015 at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints in Alma with interment to follow at Oak Bower Cemetery in Mulberry, under the direction of Edwards Van-Alma Funeral Home of Van Buren, AR.
Pallbearers will be Matt Potthast, Paul Lerch, Jimmie Potthast, Garrett Potthast, Pete Buck-Friis, Richard Black, Rod Potthast, and Dallas Bartlett.
The family will visit with friends from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. Sunday, February 1, 2015, at Edwards Van-Alma Funeral Home, 4100 Alma Highway, Van Buren, AR.
