Jeanette Bryant

Jeanette Bryant, 83, of Alma, AR, died Tuesday, December 27, 2011 in a local hospital. She was born December 25, 1928 in Clarksville, AR to Walter Rachel and Violet Teran. She was a homemaker and a member of Alma United Methodist Church in Alma, AR. She was preceded in death by her husband, Steve Bryant and sister Kathryn Shelby.

She was survived by a daughter, Kathy Summers of Scottsdale, AZ.; two sons, Steve Bryant Jr. and his wife Sharon of Batesville, AR and Eddie Bryant and his wife Judith of El Paso, TX.; 6 granddaughters, Monica Bryant, Mallory Burton and her husband Justin, Jordan Kupetz and her husband Jonathan, Jillian Dewey and her husband Michael, Annette Summers, Amanda Lester and her husband Justin; as well as 3 great grandchildren, Brycen Lester, Joseph Burton, and Brynn Dewey.

Funeral service will be 10:00 A.M. Friday, December 30, 2011 at Edwards Van-Alma Chapel in Van Buren, AR with burial at Evergreen Cemetery in Alma, AR under the direction of Edwards Van-Alma Funeral Home in Van Buren, AR.

Pallbearers will be Ricky Shelby, Mark Shelby, Jerry Summers, Justin Lester, Paul Anderson, Thomas Peevy, Ed Thicksten, and Lionel Bryant. Honorary Pallbearers will be Joe Lee Lewers, Rick Rachel, Morgan Bryant, Phillip Ray Bryant, and Ralph Mortes

The family will receive friends from 6:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M. Thursday, December 29, 2011 at Edwards Van-Alma Funeral Home in Van Buren.
