Jerlean J. Armer
December 26, 1937 – February 19, 2012
Jerlean J. Armer, 74, of Muldrow, OK, died, Sunday, February 19, 2012 in Fort Smith, AR. She was born December 26, 1937 in Uniontown, AR to Claude and Hazel Ragge. She was an aide and cooking manager for 30 years at Belfonte School in Oklahoma, a member of Lee Creek Assembly of God. She was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother and going to church and serving the Lord was her greatest passion and she blessed many with her anointed singing. She was preceded in death by a son Stevie Armer and two brothers Kenneth Ragge and G.T. Ragge. She is survived by her husband Harold Armer of the home; three daughters, Yvonne Ulmer and her husband Garry Wayne of Muldrow, OK, Amy Armer of Roland, OK, Karla Martin and her husband Doug of Muldrow, OK; one son, Rick Armer and his wife Rebekah of Muldrow, Ok; three sisters, Ann Myers of Uniontown, AR, Kay Brunk of Muldrow, OK, Brenda White of Marble City, OK; 12 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren. Funeral service will be 2:00 P.M. Thursday, February 23, 2012 Uniontown Assembly of God in Uniontown, AR with burial at Seabolt Cemetery in Nicut, OK under the direction of Edwards Van-Alma Funeral Home in Van Buren. Pallbearers will be Steven Wilson, Caleb Ruckman, Aaron Ruckman, Jeremy Ruckman, Zack Strong, and Alex Seabolt. The family will receive friends from 6 P.M. to 8 P.M. Wednesday, February 22, 2012 at Edwards Van-Alma Funeral Home in Van Buren.

God has blessed me soo much to have u a part of my life for so long. I've known you since i was 8. You are one of the sweetest ladies i've ever known. I can still hear you singing in church "I'll have a new body praise the lord i'll have a new life" and "I'll live on"...You got your new body and your new life so now you get to live on forever with your King Jesus.. All my prayers for your family.

i am so glad to have been part of auntie jerlans' life... I will miss you with all my heart but i would never ask you to give up all you have now in heaven. you worked very hard all your life to get to where you are now.. now its my turn to work as hard as you did for the lord so that i may worship at the feet of christ one day with you and all our loved ones .. God blessed us with your beautiful voice and your strength and your devotion to god.

Mrs Armer was a wonderful lady and will be missed by all who knew her. As she sang many times "You ain't seen the last of me," you all have that promise of seeing her again someday. You are in our thoughts and prayers.
