Jerry Beard, 57, of Rudy, passed away Wednesday, March 29, 2017 at his home. He was born January 29, 1960 in Tipton, Indiana. He was a self-employed carpenter, and raced at Crawford County Speedway. He was preceded in death by a brother, Bobby Beard.
He is survived by his wife, Debbie of the home; two daughters, Heather Beard and Ashley Beard, both of Alma; a son, Joey Beard of Alma; his parents, Barbara and William Shelley of Rudy; a sister, Sherry Sterling of Fort Smith; two brothers, Chris Beard and Gregory Beard, both of Rudy; and eight grandchildren.
Cremation is under the direction of Edwards Van-Alma Funeral Home of Van Buren, Arkansas. There are no services scheduled at this time.
